This organization raises funds for campaigns for some of the biggest and smallest welfare organizations in South Africa. The campaign is an annual charity fundraiser to benefit a wide range of organizations supporting Animals, Basic Family care, Children, Disability and Education.

The beneficiary organizations render a service in South Africa. They have been carefully selected, handpicked and the organization checked them out carefully to ensure that no matter which sector people choose to support, the donation will be used in the best possible way.

INTERNSHIP

This organization is looking for Communication/Media student-intern, who can assist in the following:

• Required to write press releases, liaise with local media (newspapers, magazines, radio and television) to gain publicity. You need to phone and follow up.

• Assist with brainstorming for articles, radio &amp; television adverts.
• Come up with creative ideas for new media / marketing strategies to promote projects.
• Need to maintain social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus etc.
• Help with maintaining current databases.
• Be able to help organize functions and events

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or equivalent level education
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people at all levels
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach
• Excellent interpersonal skills – able to interact with wide variety of personnel
• A highly motivated individual who is able to work well on their own initiative, as well as part of a team
